  If your brother in law or sister in law had a place to stay up North, this would be it. The cabins are quality built, very cozy and not fussy. Don't look for matchy-matchy sheets and towels. These items are colorful, and WASHED frequently, and everything is very clean. There is a large counter space with a microwave, a mini fridge, a toaster and a hot plate. When I stay here again, I'll bring a pancake griddle and a crockpot. A small 4 person table is also in the room. All cabins have a picnic table, a grill, and a fire ring. There is also a deck out front to watch the world go by. Besides the cabins, there are also RV's to rent, and a couple of full hook up sites. The owners are on site, and you are literally in their front yard. But everything is quiet and peaceful. This is easy and enjoyable access to Up North living. It's close to the Tippy Dam State Recreation area, and only 25 minutes away from Manistee, the beaches, and the casino. The rates are so reasonable, it's a best bet to stay here.

  We stayed here 2 years ago, I would not recommend this place at all. Lumpy beds, they are uneven, musty, old yellow towels that used to be white, very small showers.
